Zeeshan is a writer and someone who never misses out on a chance to speak against the illogical norms and rules present within the society. He loves to read about religions, cultures and history. One of the most active astronomers in his city, Hyderabad, Zeeshan is an avid book collector too. He has made short films, as well as written for a famous English newspaper. Despite being a business student, he’s very interested in other fields such as journalism, music and movies. His blog was shortlisted for Pakistan Blog Awards 2011. Zeeshan established Paranormal Society of Pakistan, an organization dealing with the supernatural studies, way back in 2004. It was the first of its kind, in Hyderabad.

A commerce graduate who has keen interest in reading books & writing articles, Maliha believes in the maxim “Pen is a light which lightens our mind”. Her aim for joining Shashca as a columnist is to show an optimistic side of our society by spreading knowledge and awareness among her readers.

Rabia Ramzan
Rabia is a silver medalist in M.A. English Language and Literature from Fatima Jinnah Women University. Since the very early days of her life, she never had the stereotypical dream of becoming a doctor or engineer, but she believes in the quotation by Edward Everett Hale: “I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do”. This is why she has opted for teaching of English Language and Literature as a profession and this intuitive notion solidified her thoughts for being a writer.

Dr Rashid Dar started writing articles in Daily Azkaar and Akhbar-e-Punjab at the age of 18. In 2011 he became the member of All Pakistan Columnist Association and later joined Shascha Newspaper in 2011. In 2013 he completed his graduation in commerce and medical. Now a days he is bureau Chief Islamabad of Akhbar-e-Punjab. He is Also a member of the Youth Parliament.

Samreen did her Masters in International Relations (IR) and therefore loves to stay updated about latest happenings around the world. She strongly believes in the power of words to bring positive change. She hopes her words too can bring changes in our society, maybe not a big one but even a minor change is worth it. :)
